Fantastic artist Jeremy Geddes captured my eyesight as I was surfing the net for some amazing artworks, I was dumbstruck when I took a closer look at his paintings, so emotional and detailed, bizarre situations in post apocalyptic atmospheres, truly beautiful and mind blowing.
Here is what Art Attacks! online wrote about him (since I couldn’t really find too much information about him):
Melbourne based photo realistic painter, Jeremy Geddes, earned a BA and a postgrad degree at Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia. His work is true to life and depicts deep emotion in impassioned breathtaking characters, usually astronauts, which are often trapped within the edges of Jeremy’s canvas. His work was last seen at the Hi-Fructose group show held at the Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle. He also has an upcoming solo show scheduled at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York for sometime in 2012. Jeremy also just released an amazing new oil painting entitled “A Perfect Vacuum.” The quality is just amazing and it will be released as a print on Jeremy’s site soon. Check it out below, along with the rest of Jeremy’s work.
I also found a great article on the Empty Kingdom site, you can check it out HERE!
